Job Description

We’re looking for a Senior Control and Quality Analyst to join our Continuous Improvement team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in maintaining high standards of quality and risk management across our processes, ensuring excellent customer outcomes and supporting operational excellence. You’ll use your technical knowledge of Defined Benefit pensions to provide assurance, coaching, and continuous improvement initiatives.


What you’ll be doing

  • Undertake control testing and quality assurance assessments across processes and individual performance
  • Provide coaching and feedback to team managers and members based on QA results
  • Analyse QA performance and customer data to identify training gaps and improvement opportunities
  • Review and adapt QA strategies to maintain high standards of risk management and control performance
  • Test and document processes to ensure consistency and compliance with UK PRT requirements
  • Maintain accurate audit trails and produce data-driven recommendations for performance improvement
  • Support less experienced team members with training and guidance on new processes
  • Keep internal customers and third parties updated to ensure excellent customer outcomes

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of Defined Benefit pensions and PRT products and processes
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation including GDPR, Money Laundering, Complaints, and Treating Customers Fairly
  • Familiarity with risk, control, audit, and assurance practices
  • Ability to manage tight deadlines and prioritise effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Customer‑focused approach with a commitment to improving service and outcomes
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Collaborative team player who can coach and support others
