Broker Operations associate will lead the way in the team in providing a high-quality service to all LMAX clients and complete internal processes and tasks to a high-level standard with an expertise in one or more of the departmental areas.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Continually support the team as the senior team member, to fully understand the operational side of client queries.
  • Lead the way and encourage/teach team members how to perform tasks and how to enhance the client experience.
  • Drive continuous improvement for the team’s ways of working
  • Assist Partner Success team, and Sales where necessary, with an understanding of client’s trade executions with an in-depth analysis.
  • Perform more complex payment’s role, including CUP transfer, raising and resolving payments tickets, managing CASS issues and managing daily settlement requests and third party settlement platforms.
  • Ensure DFX processes are followed accurately and in a timely manner
  • Work to weekly, monthly, and quarterly objectives and targets.
  • Follow internal policies and adhere to regulatory requirements.
  • Developing and distributing management reporting for LMAX Digital.
  • Working towards becoming a subject matter expert in Digital Assets.
  • Keep up to date with latest developments in Cryptocurrency.
  • Understand and anticipate the needs and expectations of the clients – offering new ideas to the line manager to enhance the client experience.
  • Liaise with other teams in different locations, providing support where necessary.
  • Work closely with the Treasury department regarding any payment queries of funds in and out.
  • Maintaining Operational documentation including process & procedure documents, legal documents, and corporate presentations
  • Understand the high-level functioning of MT4/5 platform and its relation to LMAX servers; raise any issues with the relevant people.
  • Work with the Risk department in offering clients higher leverage or additional accounts.
  • Feedback reoccurring client issues to the Manager and relevant internal departments, where applicable.
  • Update all databases and ensure client information is accurate.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of the LMAX Global and LMAX Digital client experience.
  • Manage/Update IB and Money Manager data in Salesforce – adding new agreements, creating rebate accounts, and assigning new rate cards.
  • Perform monthly tasks such as API/FIX/Redistribution charges.
  • Developing and distributing management reporting for LMAX Digital.
  • Run daily, weekly, and ad-hoc payment reports for LMAX Digital and LMAX Global.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience in financial services operations, with at least 1–2 years specifically in cryptocurrency or digital asset operations.
  • Experience working with trading platforms such as MT4/MT5 and blockchain-related systems.
  • Cryptocurrency Knowledge: Strong understanding of digital asset markets, wallets, crypto transfers, custody, and blockchain transactions.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with trading platforms (MT4/MT5), Salesforce, FIX APIs, and data reporting tools.
  • Analytical Ability: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret trading and payments data.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to explain complex issues clearly.
  • Attention to Detail: Accurate and thorough in completing operational tasks and documentation.
  • Team Leadership: Ability to mentor and coach team members; lead by example.
  • Customer Focus: Strong client service orientation with a proactive approach to anticipating and resolving issues.
  • Regulatory Awareness: Understanding of financial and crypto regulatory environments (including CASS) and adherence to internal policies.
  • Time Management: Capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
