About the Role


They are seeking a DeFi Trader to help ideate, develop, and refine automated trading strategies across decentralized exchanges and multiple blockchain ecosystems.

You will work with best-in-class trading infrastructure, a wide network of liquidity venues, and a highly collaborative internal DeFi team. The focus spans liquidity provisioning, principal trading, and passive yield strategies. A strong risk-management mindset and the ability to identify and model the unique risks within DeFi are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement advanced automated trading algorithms for DeFi venues and across various blockchains.
  • Conduct rigorous research and quantitative analysis to enhance trading performance and improve risk frameworks.
  • Identify, validate, and test new trading signals through backtesting and data-driven evaluation.
  • Collaborate with quantitative researchers and technologists to build robust, scalable solutions for automated DeFi trading.
  • Stay current with DeFi market developments to capture short-term opportunities and inform long-term strategic thinking.

Your Profile

  • PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Quant Finance, or another technical discipline.
  • Experience with DeFi-focused trading strategies—professional or personal.
  • Strong understanding of DEX mechanics, blockchain fundamentals, protocol design, and smart contract risks.
  • Excellent analytical, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build tools and write code for processing and analyzing large datasets.
  • Proficiency in software engineering principles and coding best practices.
