    The role

    The IT Engineer is responsible for the implementation of technical solutions to fulfil business requirements using sound, proven, industry best practices and in accordance with enterprise architectural standards and engineering methodology. Analyses and resolves complex issues related to both private and public cloud IT Engineering and operations, system software, storage management, backup methodology, virtualisation, monitoring and management tools, business continuity, high availability solutions, provide cloud services estimates and implements both private and public cloud IaaS, PaaS and SaaS solutions. They will monitor system performance and capacity and provides periodic system status reports to department management and provides proactive remediation. Acts as a technical escalation point for team members.

    What you will be doing?

  • Develop, maintain and manage technical documentation to adhere to industry standards

  • IT and Networking trouble shooting and reporting on root cause analysis

  • Design and implement the Active Directory and Group Policy Design

  • Implement and maintain firewall rules and policies, performing routine audits to ensure security compliance

  • Design, implement, and manage robust backup systems

  • Maintain knowledge of DevOps

  • Collaborate and effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders on IT matters

  • Complete risk analysis assessment to identify potential IT and network risks to implement mitigation strategies

  • Provide relevant support and maintenance to the IT Helpdesk

  • Maintain an accurate IT asset inventory

  • Manage and priorities workload to meet operational demand

  • Provide out of hours support, where necessary, to maintain critical infrastructure across the IT Estate

    What we want from you?

  • Knowledge of Microsoft and Networking Architectures

  • Understanding of DNS/DHCP/OSPF/MPLS design concepts

  • Knowledge of Layer 2/3 Routing and Switching

  • Proficient in Office 365, EntraID, Purview and SharePoint
