Job Title: Junior Cloud Support Engineer
Location: Mansfield
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive and technically-minded Junior Cloud Support Engineer to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with solid first-line support experience and some exposure to second-line support to develop their skills further in cloud technologies, specifically within the AWS ecosystem.

Company Overview:
Crypto for On and Off Fiat exchanges of funds (a payment gateway) - converts normal currency into crypto, and then back again so people can use their crypto to buy things from various different websites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line support to users, triaging and resolving basic technical issues.

  • Assist with second-line support tasks, escalating complex issues where necessary.

  • Monitor cloud infrastructure and respond to alerts.

  • Work closely with senior engineers to support and maintain AWS environments.

  • Document issues and resolutions, helping to improve internal knowledge bases.

  • Contribute to the improvement of support processes and workflows.

    Requirements:

  • Experience in IT support, primarily first-line with some second-line exposure.

  • Hands-on experience with AWS (e.g., EC2, S3, IAM, basic networking).

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

  • Full right to work in the UK — no sponsorship available.

    Nice to Have:

  • AWS certifications (e.g., Cloud Practitioner or Solutions Architect – Associate).

  • Experience with ticketing systems like Jira, Zendesk, or ServiceNow.

  • Basic scripting knowledge (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell).
