Telephony Engineer - Voice and Video Hybrid (Corsham - approx. 2 days per week) SC with a willingness to obtain / or DV Clearance, UK Nationals Only Up to £760/day Inside IR35

We are seeking an experienced LAD-T Telephony Engineer to support the delivery, configuration, and maintenance of voice and telephony services within the LAD-T solution. This role involves working with NATO VoIP systems, integrating voice services at an enterprise level, and ensuring compliance with JSP and NATO STANAG standards.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, maintain, and support NATO VoIP telephony systems within the LAD-T solution.

Provide network engineering support across the wider NSoIT(D) programme.

Produce and review technical design artefacts at various levels.

Support system testing activities and integration of FMN Voice & Video services.

Work with Service Management to diagnose and resolve technical issues.

Ensure Quality of Service (QoS) implementation aligns with JSP and NATO STANAG standards.

Engage with NATO and Defence Digital to ensure successful deployment of NS Voice & Video services.

Essential Skills, Qualifications & Experience

Extensive experience in installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of:

NATO VoIP telephony systems

FMN Voice & Video services

Enterprise-level voice user integration

Knowledge and experience of Agile delivery models and working in fast-paced operational environments.

Strong background in Cisco networking, holding a CCNP certification (within the last five years).

Expertise in the following Cisco technologies:

Switches, Routers, VLANs, QoS, OSPF, BGP, VoIP

Multi-Point Conference Units (MCU)

Session Border Controllers & Cisco CUBE

Excellent critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills for working with diverse audiences.

SC clearance is required, with willingness to undergo DV clearance.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Desirable Skills & Experience

Experience working within the public sector, Defence, or Defence Digital.

Knowledge of:

Poly Clarity Real Presence, Skype, Cisco Call Manager, Unified Communications, IP Crypto

Atlassian Toolset - JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket

Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies
