Function

The Systems Engineering team is the backbone of this company's project success, offering technical expertise from bid to full development. As a Principal Systems Engineer, you'll ensure projects meet technical, regulatory, and quality standards, enhance engineering practices, and help drive innovation across the company.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead Systems Engineering for projects, meeting obligations on time and budget.

  • Develop and Oversee Technical Solutions for complex engineering challenges.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional architects to ensure modular, reusable, top-tier design.

  • Engage with Customers and Suppliers to meet objectives and secure successful outcomes.

  • Drive Technical Proposals with accurate estimates to support winning bids and contracts.

  • Mentor Junior Engineers and act as a go-to technical resource for complex issues.

  • Present Design Reviews to senior management and clients, showcasing our technical capabilities.

  • Enhance Systems Engineering Practices to grow our team's impact and expertise.

    Your Expertise:

  • Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics, or equivalent experience.

  • Proven experience in Systems Engineering (requirements, design, V-Model).

  • Strong technical leadership and hands-on expertise in hardware, software, or firmware.

  • Skilled in DOORS, UML, SEBoK, and SysML, with excellent technical documentation abilities.

  • Eligibility for SC security clearance (DV desirable).
