How you’ll make a difference

As the Cryptography Manager within the Chief Information Security Office (CISO), you will lead the strategy, design, and operational management of our Key Management Infrastructure, serving as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and authenticity of our data. You’ll bring a calm, detail driven approach to security incidents, maintain meticulous documentation, and collaborate effectively across teams to share knowledge and strengthen collective capability.


What you’ll bring

  • Preferably educated to a degree level or above in an Information Security related discipline or equivalent work experience. May also have certifications such as CISM, CISSP or equivalent.
  • Knowledgeable of PKI concepts, encryption algorithms, and certificate / key lifecycle.
  • Define and enforce the organization’s Cryptographic Standard, Certificate Policy (CP), and Certification Practice Statement (CPS).
  • Manage and maintain Hardware Security Modules (HSM’s).
  • Automation and support for certificate issuance and renewal using tools (Venafi, DigiCert).
  • Lead the transition to Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) by conducting crypto-inventory audits, assessing readiness and implementing the PQC strategy.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve certificate and crypto related issues across applications, networks, and operating systems, including trust chain failures, expired certificates, and misconfigurations.
  • Ability to enforce security policies, audit encryption processes and ensure compliance with standards such as NIST, PCI, FIPS and industry best practices.

Selection process

There will likely be a 30-minute informal, exploratory chat with the Hiring Manager followed by a structured interview via Teams with the Hiring Manager plus another member of the team. Here are some of the questions you’ll be asked at interview:
