Blockchain Developer | 6 Month Contract | Hybrid | London


We're looking for an experienced Blockchain Developer to join a growing engineering team working on real-world smart contract solutions. This will be a hands-on role focused on smart contract development across multiple blockchain ecosystems, with a strong emphasis on Ethereum (Solidity) or Solana (Rust), and exposure to DAML-based enterprise platforms is highly valued.


Location: London (1 day onsite, 4 WFH)

Contract: 6 Months (OIR35)

Rate: £500-600 DOE


What You'll Be Working On:

  • Designing, developing and maintaining smart contracts / on-chain programs
  • Building solutions on Ethereum (Solidity) or Solana (Rust)
  • Contributing to enterprise distributed ledger workflows (DAML-based platforms)
  • Collaborating with engineers and product teams on architecture, security and scalability
  • Reviewing, testing, and improving smart contract code
  • Supporting integration with off-chain services, APIs, and data layers


Key Skills & Experience:

  • Strong experience working with Solidity and Ethereum smart contracts
  • And/Or experience developing Solana programs using Rust
  • Understanding of smart contract security, testing and optimisation
  • Experience working with DAML (desirable but not essential)
  • Exposure to XRP Ledger/Ripple concepts or integrations (Bonus)
