As Senior Manager, Crypto Initiatives (Europe), you will lead the execution of high-impact crypto and stablecoin programs, driving product go-to-market (GTM) and coordination across Visa's European markets. You will operate at the intersection of product, program management and sales enablement, supporting the Visa stablecoin strategy execution in Europe.


Responsibilities

  • Lead program management and oversee strategic crypto and stablecoin initiatives across multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment with Visa's European and global objectives.
  • Coordinate complex, cross-functional regional and global teams dedicated to localize crypto and stablecoin initiatives in Europe-including product, legal, compliance, finance, and client services- ensuring seamless delivery against key OKRs.
  • Establish and manage robust program governance, reporting, and delivery frameworks for product launches and localization efforts. Drive key decisions forward by preparing clear decision frameworks, identifying trade-offs, and ensuring stakeholder alignment. Monitor and track progress of workstreams, proactively identifying risks, dependencies, and blockers.
  • Engage and support product clusters teams related to Visa crypto and stablecoin initiatives based on client demand.
  • Coordinate stablecoin pilots deployments with clients and consolidate client feedback on Visa stablecoin pilots and products.
  • Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in managing complex product development programs.
  • Consolidate Internal and External communications and Sales Play: sales enablement materials, training, and collateral to support cluster teams and account executives.
  • Manage stakeholder communications, providing regular updates and ensuring transparency across teams. Support the team preparing executive-level materials, including initiative status, risks, recommendations, and decision frameworks for senior leadership.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of dashboards to monitor key metrics, pipeline progress, and program performance across all crypto and stablecoin initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with global and local data analytics teams to uncover actionable insights and performance optimization levels, driving continuous improvement in product adoption and operational efficiency.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.


Qualifications

  • 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD, 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
  • 7-10+ years of relevant experience in payments (e.g., a payment facilitator, an independent software vendor, acquirer, fintech, Web3) or financial services, with a proven track record in program management and product GTM execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex, multi-workstream programs across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Experience with governance processes, including steering committees, executive reviews.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities, including the capability to navigate ambiguity and drive alignment.
  • Track record of stakeholder management across technical, legal, compliance, and operational functions.
  • Understanding of the crypto ecosystem, stablecoins, and broader digital asset market dynamics.
  • Experience working with legal and regulatory teams, particularly on financial regulations, digital assets, or compliance matters.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with experience preparing materials for executive leadership.
  • Ability to identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency and reduce operational risk.
  • Passion for innovation in financial technology and an interest in shaping the future of digital currency.
  • Personal presence and ability to clearly communicate compelling messages to senior managers and external business partners.
  • Demonstrates a high degree of curiosity, proactively seeks out new opportunities and solutions, and thrives in environments of ambiguity and rapid change.
  • Self-starter, team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible, with excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities.
