We are recruiting on behalf of our client who is looking for an experience Construction Planner. This position is site-based in central London and requires availability 5 days a week.


  • Develop detailed construction schedules using software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar tools.

  • Coordinate with project teams to gather input on task durations, dependencies, and resource needs.

  • Monitor and update project schedules regularly to reflect progress and any changes.

  • Conduct critical path and risk analysis to identify potential delays or issues.

  • Support project teams with short-term lookahead plans and schedule reports.

  • Participate in planning meetings and site visits to ensure schedules align with real-world conditions.

  • Integrate procurement, permitting, and subcontractor schedules into the overall project timeline.

  • Provide accurate progress tracking, performance measurement, and reporting to stakeholders.

  • Identify and mitigate schedule-related risks and suggest corrective actions.

  • Ensure compliance with client requirements, contractual obligations, and company policies.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

  • Proven experience (3+ years) in construction planning or project scheduling.

  • Strong proficiency in scheduling software such as Asta Powerproject.

  • Understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and industry best practices.

  • Strong knowledge of critical path method (CPM) scheduling.

  • Familiarity with earned value management (EVM) and performance metrics.

Skills and Competencies:


  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

  • Clear and effective communication skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to risk management.

  • Strong technical skills with Microsoft Office and project management tools.

  • A minimum of 5/6 years of experience working on high end fit out projects

  • Solid understanding and hands on experience in preparing and issuing notices and claims
