Where will you be working?
Aviation- Our Aviation team works across a wide range of specialist civil, mechanical and electrical engineering works including major international airports, regional airports and RAF airfields.
Rail- Our Rail team manages a wide range of specialist rail engineering works and projects delivering civils, track, power, electrical solutions and station structures across all rail routes in the UK.

What will you be doing? 
The Degree Apprenticeship Programme
In addition to a fully financed Degree (2-year HNC + 3-year BEng) with academic support, we also offer you a 5-year structured development programme that recognises that you are unique and supports you personally, professionally, and socially.
The programme will see you rotate across our Operational Divisions of Rail, Aviation, Defence & Adjacent Markets as well as gaining experience within our central Business functions.
During your operational rotations you will be working in the capacity of an apprentice civil engineer with responsibilities for setting out, site record keeping & paperwork, assisting with programming, correspondence and QA procedures, risk assessment and adherence to Health & Safety legislation as well as other various site duties.
You will be assigned a mentor and a work buddy to support your development and offer guidance. Being part of a cohort of other apprentices, you will attend workshops and professional away days focused on your team and leadership development. You will be encouraged and supported to enrol on an ICE accredited scheme to work towards a professional qualification. There is a formal day release for college/university, to allow time to focus on your studies, as well as on-the-job learning opportunities.
What you’ll bring 

You will have achieved a minimum of 112 UCAS points, including a Maths & Science or alternatively an Engineering subject.
You must be available to commence university studies in September 2024.
A full UK driving licence is ideally required for this scheme.
