Loading Bay Operative
Location: Kirkby Thore, CA10 1XU
Shifts: Monday to Friday - Rotating Shift pattern
Pay Rate: £12.25 - £14.98 depending on hours worked

We are seeking dedicated Loading Bay Operatives to join our team for the British Gypsum contract in Kirkby Thore.

Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from, Drayage, Global freight forwarding & Full truckload transport. The company is committed to environmental sustainability and works with customers to create action plans to reduce emissions.

Key Responsibilities:

Secure loads by unstrapping and strapping them as needed to ensure safety during transit.
Collaborate with forklift truck (FLT) drivers to confirm that loads are properly secured or ready to be unloaded.
Provide support in loading and unloading activities if required, although these tasks are typically handled by FLT drivers.
Maintain adherence to all site health and safety regulations.Shift Pattern:

Week 1: 21:00 - 06:00
Week 2: 13:00 - 22:00
Week 3: 06:00 - 15:00Shifts rotate on a three-week basis, provided in advance. No weekend or bank holiday work unless overtime is offered.

Pay Rates:
Before 40 hours/week:

06:00 - 18:00: £12.25
18:00 - 06:00: £14.98After 40 hours/week:

06:00 - 18:00: £12.25
18:00 - 06:00: £14.98Requirements:

Flexibility to support loading/unloading if necessary.
