Security Manager | Guildford
Security Manager required to be responsible for maintenance of physical & classified material security. Reporting to the Head of IT, Security & Facilities the role maintains physical security of commercial and government assets and supports the wider IT, Personnel and Project Security functions.
Core activities include:
Completion of documentation necessary to maintain Facilities Security Certificate (FSC) and Industrial Personal Security Assurance (IPSA)
Development of company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance to HMG and corporate security standards to cover:

Management of physical security systems (AACS, IDS, CCTV & Locks)

Management of physical security systems including onboarding (creating access cards & ID, training etc) & offboarding user
Organisation of maintenance and execution of audit of physical security system
Organisation & management of keys for security equipment
Updating of Guarding InstructionsSupport to the Personal Security Officer in completing National Security Vetting & Aftercar

Development of processes and creation of evidence for IPSA accreditation
Creation & issue or receipt of Confirmation of Clearances (UK & Overseas)Development and presentation of security awareness material

Working with IT Security Team
Drawing upon NPSA, IPSA & ADS material
Creation & execution of communication planDevelopment and deployment of Traveller Security material

Assembling traveller security packs using FCDO & iSOS destination specific material + NPSA security advice
Providing briefing to staff travelling abroad
Issue of Casual Courier CertificatesManagement of HMG classified material

Checking in & destruction processes
Preparation of courier / transfer documentation
Muster of material
Organisation of destruction
Reporting security incidentsManagement of CRYPTO material

Person Specification

Experience
Involvement in management of high security of facilities, projects or products (in a high technology environment an advantage but not essential)

The role requires working on site, however hours can be flexible to allow for childcare / caring responsibilities.
Limited UK & international travel and on-call support may be required

Qualifications
A qualification in Security or progress on MoD / DISA / NPSA training paths is preference – but training will be provided

Must be a UK citizen, must be able to attain and hold National Security Vetting at DV level and explosives licence
