We are looking for two Senior Project Controls Manager to lead our clients project controls team.

You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining project controls governance, processes, and procedures, as well as managing project schedules, costs, risks, and quality. You will work closely with project and programme managers, stakeholders, and team members to ensure the successful delivery of their projects. If you have a proven track record in project controls, excellent communication and influencing skills, and the ability to lead from the front, we want to hear from you.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in project controls on complex/major projects or programmes

  • Knowledge of project controls approaches and practices, including planning/scheduling management, cost management, risk management, and analysis

  • Experience in applying and assuring related project controls governance measures

  • Experience in working with common project controls toolsets, such as MSP/P6, RiskHive, ERP/SAP systems

  • Strong communication and influencing skills

  • Ability to lead from the front and motivate team members

  • Organized, confident, and self-motivated with the ability to transform complex problems into simple, elegant solutions

    Nice to Have Skills

  • Experience in working with multi-disciplinary teams, including external suppliers and customers

  • Experience in project outcomes and an ability to encourage others to strive for the greater good

  • Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) and ability to establish and maintain a reliable EVM system

  • Experience in risk management and schedule risk analysis

  • Familiarity with configuration control and ability to maintain effective configuration control

    The ideal candidate will have a background working for Oil & Gas businesses and is looking for a change of sector into defence.

    Applicants do not require active security clearance, but they will need to be eligible for this
