Progress Measurement Lead - Major Construction Programme

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Progress Measurement Lead to join a high-profile construction programme in Norway. This role is ideal for a motivated professional with a strong background in Earned Value Management (EVM), project controls, and performance analysis within complex, multi-contractor environments.

The Role
The Progress Measurement Lead will be responsible for developing and implementing progress tracking systems across multiple contracts. Acting as the single point of contact for supply chain engagement on EVM, the successful candidate will drive performance reporting, ensure alignment with project baselines, and provide strategic insights to the senior leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate all aspects of progress measurement and earned value processes.

Develop robust systems to track cost, budgeted manhours, and quantities using relevant metrics.

Collaborate with contractors to ensure compliance with project progress measurement requirements.

Analyse contractor progress updates and report on performance trends and variances.

Provide coaching and support to project teams on EVM practices and principles.

Support risk management and change control through integrated reporting.

Deliver regular performance reports tailored to project management, stakeholders, and executive audiences.

Identify performance improvement opportunities and help implement effective solutions.

Key Skills & Experience

Proven track record in progress measurement and earned value management on major construction projects.

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with attention to detail.

Proficient in data collection, validation, and performance analysis tools.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with cross-functional teams.

Competent in project management methodologies and performance reporting.

Experience with data visualization and relevant software applications is an advantage.
